Policies
Reservation
A 20% downpayment is required to confirm any reservation. For online payment, guests must attach a screenshot or proof of their GCash transaction via reservation website to complete the reservation process.
Cancellation
Once a reservation has been confirmed with a downpayment, the 20% downpayment is considered non-refundable. If a guest has not made a downpayment, their reservation is not confirmed, and the room may be given to another interested party. In cases of no-shows, the hotel staff will attempt to contact the guest. If they cannot be reached or do not respond within the day, the reservation will be canceled without a refund.
Check-in
Marikina Hotel's standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Guests are required to settle their full payment upon check-in, regardless of any prior downpayment made during reservation. Accepted payment methods for walk-in guests include cash, GCash, PayMaya, and credit or debit cards. For reservations made via website, only GCash transactions are accepted. Before check-in, the housekeeping team ensures that rooms are clean and ready for occupancy. Early check-in may be granted depending on room availability and is subject to an additional fee of ₱500.
Check-out
The standard check-out time at Marikina Hotel is 12:00 noon. Guests requesting a late check-out may be accommodated based on availability. If the extension is within 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, it may be granted free of charge. However, check-outs between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM will incur a late check-out fee of ₱500. Housekeeping is responsible for checking each room prior to final check-out. Any damage to hotel property or missing items will be charged against the guest's security deposit.
Rebooking / Modification
Guests are allowed to modify or rebook their reservations at Marikina Hotel, provided that the requested changes can be accommodated. Rebooking is free of charge and is subject to room availability. If no rooms are available on the preferred dates, the hotel may not be able to fulfill the request.
Payment
Guests are required to pay a 20% non-refundable downpayment to confirm their reservation. The remaining balance must be fully paid upon check-in. For walk-in guests, accepted payment methods include cash, GCash, PayMaya, and credit or debit cards. For reservations via website, only GCash is accepted, and proof of payment must be attached. 1000 Pesos as a refundable security deposit is also collected upon check-in to cover potential incidental charges, damages, or unpaid balances. This deposit is returned upon check-out, provided that no issues are found during room inspection.
